Combining two ArcHouse systems.

The scenario

Two housing associations in the South of England had merged together and wished to combine their Housing Management systems. The primary association had 1800 properties using Orchard Information Systems' ArcHouse Housing Management System working on Windows and the secondary association had 3800 properties using ArcHouse running on UNIX.

The objective was to transfer the 3800 properties over to the one system to reduce overall ongoing costs.
