Is MergeIT2 supported on Windows Server?
Without WordFree, MergeIT it is not currently supported on Windows Server. This is due to several unresolvable issues in MS Word when used on Microsoft Windows Server platforms. Windows Server systems from 2008 onwards were designed to be used as servers with little or no interactive sessions, MergeIT uses automation to drive Microsoft Word. Although Microsoft Word is supported by Microsoft on Server 2008 and later, automation of Word is not fully supported. During testing PickSoft encountered several issues that could not be easily resolved on Server 2008 and later. The reason for this is explained in more detail here on a Microsoft article - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/257757

Nearly all barcode scanners support Code 128. Code 128 supports far more characters in both upper case and lower case than the older, less reliable Code 3 of 9 barcode type. Does MergeIT2 support an ODIF Bundle Factor greater than 1?
The ODIF Bundle Factor setting in Orchard is a hangover from earlier systems, before the introduction of MergeIT2. Having an ODIF Bundle Factor of greater than 1 has always been a challenge for MergeIT2, which was never designed or intended to handle bundled merges. However, customers do like it and use it, so to avoid unnecessary contention PickSoft have always taken the stance that if it works use it, but where it causes problems reduce the bundle factor to 1.
Neither Large Print or Alternate Language can be supported in a bundle.
