In 2019, Industry research indicated it cost you more than £1.28 to send a letter when all your overheads and time are included. This was 61p more than the 47p (2019/2020 price) of sending second class franked. The Hybrid Mail extension allows documents that would normally be printed, stuck in an envelope and franked to be passed to a document outsource processor to print, package and send your letters for you. This typically reduces the cost by over 50p per letter. Assuming you send 8 letters on average to each tenant that would mean a saving of £4 per year per tenant. In addition you will not need to order and stock as much paper, especially if you have pre-printed letterhead.
In addition to the cost savings, our partner provides multiple layers of security to ensure that all letters are sent and tracked throughout the system. Our partner delivers post directly to the Royal Mail so even letters sent late in the day will still hit the next day's post.

Hybrid Mail Extension FAQ
Will I be able to stop certain letter from going by hybrid mail?
Yes. Each letter type is set up to do what you want. This means that some can be sent hybrid mail first class, others second class and some not sent at all.
We normally scan the letters before we send them and put them into our document management system. Can we still do that?
We would recommend you look at using our document management interface which will save you even more time and effort. If you really need to have a copy printed we can set that up in addition to sending the mail.
How do we pay for the postage?
You will have an account with our partner. This will give you a lot of benefits such as being able to track the mail you send and report on costs.
How much customer effort is required to implement the Hybrid Mail interface?
Customers will not need to do much at all. PickSoft will help through initial testing and help determine which letters to send via hybrid mail. Once confidence has been built more and more letters can be sent.
How long does the implementation take?
You go at your own pace. It should be possible to implement an initial system in a few days and everything should be tested within weeks..
